A Lazy K Ranch Home Page

The A Lazy K Ranch is an end of the road, remotely located ranch in far northeast New Mexico, 40 miles north of Clayton, close to the Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas borders. The ranch is comprised of approximately 3,000 all deeded acres and is owned by A. C. and Karen S. Brown. The ranch headquarters is located on a mesa surrounded by beautiful canyons and forested areas and is divided into six pastures for rotation cattle grazing.

There is excellent water supplied by two submergible pump wells and three windmills, all connected to a pipeline system throughout the ranch with numerous stock ponds for retaining surface water runoff.

The ranch breeds, raises, and sells high quality foundation bred quarter horses. In addition, the ranch currently grazes beef cattle during the summer and fall months.

There is abundant wildlife on the ranch consisting of antelope, deer, bear, mountain lion, turkey and seasonal herds of elk.
